Barolo manifests itself with an enveloping and warm structure. Its garnet color, with orange hues, is a visual invitation. On the nose, it reveals a complex aromatic profile, characterized by floral and spicy notes. Accents of licorice, leather and dried rose petals emerge in the foreground. The sensory journey ends with a balsamic finish, which accompanies the sip experience with pleasure. The well-calibrated freshness and the vibrant and sweet tannins come together harmoniously, creating a satisfying drink. The wine takes its leave with an excellent gustatory persistence, leaving a lasting sensation.

This wine is the ideal choice for dishes that require a certain depth and complexity. Combinations with braised meats, stews, grilled meats and aged cheeses are suggested, as Schiavenza's Barolo Broglio DOCG 2016 is able to marry beautifully with intense and characterized flavours.

Barolo Broglio represents a precious cru of the Schiavenza Company, located in the municipality of Serralunga, on clayey and silty soils at an altitude of about 360 meters. The vinification of this Barolo faithfully follows the traditional method and the refinement takes place for at least 3 years in 20-40 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. This wine authentically embodies tradition and substance, fully revealing the extraordinary potential of the Serralunga terroir. Its elegance and exceptional length at the end testify to the care and attention dedicated by the Schiavenza winery to the creation of a wine that superbly represents the character of the area.
