Conterno Fantino's Barolo Castelletto Vigna Pressenda represents an excellent enological expression, coming from one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in Piedmont. Visually, it has a deep garnet red tone, while an ample and sophisticated bouquet develops on the nose, intertwining floral and fruity notes. Suggestions of blackberries, wild berries and rose hips emerge, which contribute to a refined aromatic complexity.

The experience in the mouth is austere, but at the same time broad and round, supported by important tannins. This wine marries beautifully with roasted or braised red meats, game, dishes based on the renowned white truffle and medium-aged cheeses.

The Conterno Fantino farm began in 1982 in the suggestive Monforte d'Alba, when Carlo Conterno and Guido Fantino combined their skills in the production field. The entire company is characterized by a modern and innovative approach. In 2008, further initiatives focused on energy conservation and the adoption of renewable energy sources were implemented.

The company embraces the philosophy that meticulous care of the vineyard is essential for obtaining wines of the highest quality. The winery covers approximately 25 hectares and produces approximately 140,000 bottles a year. This Barolo Castelletto Vigna Pressenda is an authentic reflection of Conterno Fantino's ongoing commitment to winemaking excellence, encapsulating the terroir's character and innovative approach to the production of highly prestigious wines.
