Description of Barolo DOCG Ravera di Monforte 2018 by Piero Benevelli

In the glass it shows a vivid intense ruby ​​color, while the nose reveals an intricate intertwining of elegant aromas, in which nuances of red fruit in jam and sweet spices emerge that evoke hints of cinnamon and licorice.

On the palate, it demonstrates the robustness typical of the productions of the Langhe region, with a vigorous and lively tannin. Subsequently, the flavor of the fruity pulp envelops the palate, giving harmony and elegance to the gustatory experience.

The finish persists in the mouth for a medium-long period of time, leaving a memorable sensation.

COMPANY PRESENTATION:
The Cà d'Detin wine estate, owned by the Benevelli family, finds its picturesque location on the gentle hills of Monforte d'Alba, where it perpetuates the traditions of vineyard cultivation with devotion. The roots of this company date back to the early 1900s, when grandfather Filiberto, who returned from America, stayed in Italy due to the First World War and made the shrewd decision to acquire the "il pilone" estate, which became the first of the cellar. Currently, with a vast extension of about 20 hectares of vineyards, the company has recently moved to its new headquarters.
