PRESENTATION OF THE RED WINE CABERLOT MAGNUM IL CARNASCIALE 2017

Caberlot represents an unprecedented oenological work, which originates between the rolling hills of the Tuscan Apennines and those of the prestigious Chianti Classico, within the suggestive landscape of Mercatale Valdamo, in the province of Arezzo. Its history is closely intertwined with the Il Carnasciale estate, an authentic tale of passion and dedication to the nectar of the gods, handed down with love by the Rogosky family since 1985, continuing to fascinate enthusiasts and collectors of Tuscan red wines and beyond . Its name derives from a natural but surprising hybrid, born from the union of two famous grape varieties, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, which, combined, have given life to an authentic jewel of nature. Only 3,500 bottles of this unique elixir are produced each year, all in magnum format, personally hand-numbered by Bettina, Moritz Rogosky's wife, in close collaboration with winemaker and cellar keeper Peter Schilling.

The Caberlot is aged for 22 months in barrique and then a further 18 months in bottle. Is the result? A composed red wine, vigorous and full-bodied, characterized by an enchanting bouquet of white pepper, berries and tobacco. Perfect to taste in combination with first courses seasoned with tasty meat-based sauces, or to accompany stewed or roasted meat and game. A wine acclaimed in every corner of the world, which evokes the desire to never end, just like fairy tales.
