It is a high-class wine, exuding remarkable elegance, with a robust structure and a dense tannic texture. Its shade is a garnet red, and its bouquet stands out for its intensity and refinement, with clear accents of violet and cherry jam. This wine, made exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, is subjected to an 18-month refinement process in 225-liter French oak barrels, which are not recently produced. Furthermore, it continues its refinement in concrete tanks and in bottles for at least six months. Its aging capacity is remarkable, with a maturation potential that can reach 15-20 years.

To enjoy it at its best, we recommend serving it at a temperature of 18-19 °C in crystal glasses with a wide base. This wine pairs beautifully with white and red meat dishes. Furthermore, it is the ideal choice to accompany first courses of Piedmontese cuisine, such as agnolotti and tajarin served with ragù or roast sauce.

Looking at it carefully, Barbaresco Socrè 2016 reveals a garnet red colour, although not too intense. On the nose, it offers an intriguing complexity with intense and elegant aromas of violet and cherry jam, with balsamic and mentholated nuances. On the palate, it manifests itself with a robust body, a dense tannic texture and a remarkably balanced acidity, guaranteeing a highly valuable aromatic persistence.
