Barolo Dagromis represents a prestigious label from the renowned Gaja winery, it originates from the Gromis family who owned a prestigious vineyard near La Morra in the 19th century. Today, the Gaja family blends the grapes from this place with those harvested in the Serralunga d'Alba cru, creating an exceptional blend of two different terroirs.
Composed exclusively of Nebbiolo grapes, Dagromis wine is the result of a traditional winemaking process carried out in steel containers. The final stage of production involves an aging of 12 months in barrique, followed by a further 18 months of rest in large oak barrels.
Its chromatic tone looks like an intense ruby, giving off generous fragrances of red berried fruits and flowers of the same color. Once tasted, its robust structure is immediately perceived, balanced by a peculiar harmony and a pleasant softness.
Its versatility makes it a wonderful option to pair with top-notch dishes like fine pastas and flavorful soups. It also goes very well with grilled meat main courses and medium-aged cheeses, thus completing a unique and unforgettable gastronomic experience.
