THE GRAPES AND THE VINEYARD

Merlot is a vine with a long tradition on these hills where it has demonstrated a remarkable adaptation to all its particular soil and climatic characteristics. The grapes here reach an extraordinary level of ripeness, then expressing themselves in wines of the highest elegance, perfectly balanced and of considerable pleasantness.

THE VINIFICATION

This merlot comes from low productivity vineyards, where management was more rigorous. Once they arrived in the cellar, the grapes were subjected to a manual selection, which allowed only the best berries to start the fermentation. At the end of the fermentation, the wine obtained was placed in French oak barriques where it was aged for 12 months.

THE WINE

Intense ruby ​​red colour. On the nose sensations of red fruit, cherry, blackberry are perceived, then the sweetness of the variety and its integration with the wood emerges. Round, soft, intense, silky and elegant to the taste. Soft tannins, persistent and very pleasant finish.
