The Alta Langa DOCG Pas Dosé "For England Rosé" 2020 from Contratto is an elegant expression of pure Pinot Noir. After a brief maceration on the skins of about two hours, the must acquires a refined onion skin pink color and extraordinary aromatic complexity. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by aging for at least 36 months on the lees, with manual riddling, which gives depth and structure to the wine. Delicate notes of ripe raspberry, thyme, and marzipan emerge on the nose, while on the palate it stands out for its freshness and precision, with elegant nuances of orange peel and bread crust. The perlage is very fine and creamy, providing an enveloping sensory experience. Perfect for accompanying sophisticated appetizers, fish dishes, and gourmet cuisine.
