The luminous freshness of the Tuscan Coast

The Bolgheri Bianco "Lungocosta" 2022 is born from the perfect encounter between Vermentino (70%) and Sauvignon Blanc (30%), varieties that find an authentic and vibrant expression on the Tuscan coast.

The 2022 vintage, characterized by a long sunny summer interrupted by providential rains at the end of August, yielded grapes of extraordinary ripeness, hand-picked in small crates to preserve all their freshness and complexity.

After careful vinification, which includes soft pressing for Vermentino and cold maceration for Sauvignon Blanc, the musts ferment slowly at low temperatures. The separate aging in tonneaux, barriques, 10 hl barrels, and ceramic amphorae for nine months, followed by an additional three months of rest after blending, gives the wine a fine and articulated structure.

Visually it is brilliant, anticipating a fresh and alluring aromatic profile: notes of citrus, white flowers, tropical fruit, and delicate mineral nuances. On the palate, it is balanced and dynamic, with a tense and savory taste that leads to a persistent and refreshing finish.

Ideal served at 10-12 °C, "Lungocosta" is the perfect companion for raw seafood, delicate pasta dishes, grilled fish, and fresh cheeses.
