Champagne "Blanc de Meunier" Brut – Mathilde Savoye
Freshness, roundness, and the identity of the Vallée de la Marne. Made exclusively from 35-year-old Pinot Meunier grapes grown in the municipalities of Cuchery and Basileux-sous-Chatillon, Mathilde Savoye's Blanc de Meunier is a Champagne that highlights the authenticity of the territory and the grape variety. The clay-limestone soils provide structure and tension, while vinification in steel and 18 months of aging on the lees enhance freshness and expressive clarity. In the glass, it presents with a beautiful bright straw yellow and a fine perlage. The nose opens with generous aromas of white and yellow-fleshed fruits, accompanied by delicate white flowers. The palate is consistent and harmonious: fruity, fresh, with a roundness typical of Meunier and a pleasant persistence. Excellent with seafood, foie gras, or aged cheeses, this Champagne is ready to be enjoyed now but can also surprise after several years in the cellar.
