Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOC Derthona - La Spinetta

Born from an indigenous grape variety that has been successfully revived in the Tortona area, this Timorasso from the La Spinetta winery tells a story of terroir, passion, and rigor. The 100% Timorasso grapes, sourced from vineyards located in the municipalities of Montemarzino and Montegioco at 350-400 m above sea level, on marly-calcareous, clayey, and sandy soils, give this wine an intense personality and surprising minerality.

The winemaking process is careful and respects the identity of the grape variety: destemming, soft pressing, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and aging on the fine lees for 7-8 months, followed by at least 3 months in the bottle before commercial release.

In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers a refined bouquet: citrus, white flowers, chamomile, hydrocarbon, aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is savory, elegant, and vibrant: structure, freshness, and minerality merge into a long and harmonious sip.

Recommended pairings: ideal with fish or vegetable appetizers, shellfish, seafood risottos; also perfect with white meats, semi-aged cheeses, or mushroom dishes.
