Classic Method Sparkling Brut “Blanc de Blancs” – Villa Sparina
Classic Method from Cortese and Chardonnay | Piedmontese freshness and class
Villa Sparina's Brut "Blanc de Blancs" is a Classic Method sparkling wine of great finesse, produced in the municipality of Gavi, in the heart of lower Piedmont. It is made predominantly from Cortese grapes, with a small addition of Chardonnay (max 3%), useful for balancing aromas and structure.
The grapes, harvested manually in September, are vinified in stainless steel before the second fermentation. The re-fermentation in the bottle follows the principles of the Classic Method, with an aging on the lees of 24–36 months, which gives depth, creaminess and elegance.
