Lucente 2022 – Tenuta Luce Toscana IGT

The Lucente 2022 comes from an intense and bright vintage, where a harsh winter and a hot, dry summer, mitigated by providential summer rains, yielded grapes of extraordinary maturity and character.

A refined blend of Merlot and Sangiovese, Lucente expresses the vitality of Montalcino with a fresh, modern and elegant style.

The grapes, after a 20-day maceration on the skins, undergo malolactic fermentation in steel and age for 12 months in barriques, partly new and partly second-passage, maintaining the vivacity and purity of the fruit intact.

Visually, it presents a bright ruby red.
The nose reveals all the energy of the vintage with intense notes of pomegranate, blackberries and violets, intertwined with elegant hints of sweet spices.

On the palate, it is enveloping and harmonious, supported by a lively freshness and mature tannins that accompany a savory and vibrant finish.

Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, pasta dishes with rich sauces or medium-aged cheeses, served at 16-18 °C to enhance its elegant energy.
