The 2005 Millésime of Champagne La Lutétienne, signed Tarlant, represents a skilful blend composed of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. The grapes come from particular and selected plots near the picturesque village of Celles-lés-Condé and Oeuilly. This extraordinary Champagne Millésime was subjected to refinement for over 13 years on its own yeasts, without the addition of a final dosage, presenting itself as a Brut Nature, characterized by a unique generosity and intensity.

The history of the Tarlant family in the art of viticulture dates back to 1687, and the current management is carried out with passion by Micheline and Jean Marie, supported by their children Benôit and Melanie, thus representing the eleventh generation. They currently manage 14 hectares of vineyards divided into 4 different Crus and distributed across 55 parcels located in the Vallèe de la Marne, precisely in the villages of Cuilly, Boursault, St-Agnan and Celles-les-Condés.

The peculiarity of each individual parcel, with very different geological situations, pushes the Tarlant to vinify each of them separately. Subsequently, the different Cuvèes are expertly assembled, with particular attention to very low dosages in the final phase to maximize the unique characteristics of their Champagnes.

The Tarlant philosophy is anchored in respect for Terroir, and they have embraced organic farming, producing around 140,000 bottles annually. The result is an extraordinary Champagne, the result of a long family tradition, which stands out for its complexity, elegance and uniqueness of taste.
