The Maison de champagne Veuve Clicquot presents the third edition of the Extra Brut Extra Old collection. Veuve Clicquot has an exceptional wine heritage, one of the largest and most varied collections of reserve wines from the Champagne regions (between 400 and 500 wines).
The purity of Veuve Clicquot's Cuvée Extra Brut Extra Old 3 can be best appreciated when combined with a balanced cuisine full of freshness, for example, vegetables with early fruits, iodized products, such as fresh seaweed and shellfish, or even fresh aromatic herbs.
In 2021, faithful to its art of blending, the Maison enriches its Extra Brut Extra Old collection with a new cuvée made up of 8 vintages selected from its most prestigious reserve wines: 1990, 1998, 1999, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014. This wine benefits from a double maturation. The first time in vats on the fine lees for several years then a further 3 years in the cellar before disgorgement, adding structure and aromatic complexity.
