If the 12 year old is an explosion of freshness, the Balvenie Single Barrel 15 year old is muscular, dominating the sherry cask in all its vinosity and florality. Like every expression of the Single Barrel range, it takes its name from the fact that it comes from a single barrel, which in turn comes from a single distillation cycle. Consequently, each bottle of Single Barrel is a limited edition and is numbered by hand.
