Champagne Grand Cru "Réserve Oubliée" Brut – Pierre Péters
La Réserve Oubliée is a hidden treasure of the historic Pierre Péters winery, a Récoltant-Manipulant for six generations in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. This Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Champagne is made from an extraordinary selection of Chardonnay coming exclusively from their own vineyards, blending more than fifteen vintages – the oldest dating back to 1988 – preserved in the precious Réserve Perpétuelle of the winery. After soft pressing and separate fermentation by terroir in temperature-controlled stainless steel, the wine ages for two years on its fine lees in wooden barrels, steel, and concrete, developing depth and complexity. The dosage, kept at 4.5 g/L, is enriched with a liqueur aged in small oak barrels. In the glass, it expresses itself with elegance and precision: aromas of candied citrus, white flowers, and almond blend with delicate pastry notes. The sip is broad, savory, rich in mineral nuances, and endowed with a freshness that invites discovery. Ideal with oysters, shellfish, sushi, or refined fish and butter dishes. Also perfect as a meditation glass for enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
A rare and deeply distinctive cuvée, embodying the memory, style, and mastery of the Pierre Péters winery.
