The Etna Bianco Tenuta delle Terre Nere embodies a rich oenological heritage. Introduced in 2005, this inaugural vintage was born from the harmony of the municipalities of Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia (Catania), in a dance of volcanic soils.
The territory extends on a northern, southern and eastern side of Etna, altitudes varying from 600 to 950 meters above sea level. The vines, with an average age of 5-15 years, rest on the espalier tree, embracing the practice of traditional breeding.
The harvest, marked by the beauty of the last ten days of September, offers grapes that undergo delicate soft pressing, followed by cold static decantation. The alcoholic fermentation, operating in steel tanks at a controlled temperature (13-15°C), develops the distinctive fresh and savory profile. The refinement proceeds in line with the nature of the wine, going into the bottle only when it is ready.
The result is a deep straw yellow that opens the curtain. The distinctly floral scent, pervaded by notes of white flowers and lime, invites you to enjoy the pleasure of smell. The palate is greeted by a fresh and savory experience, with a mineral note that resonates in a distinctive way.
This wine is an ideal table companion for appetizers, first and second courses of fish, making every bite a moment of authentic pleasure. The recommended service at a temperature of 8-10°C reveals all its nuances. The alcohol content is 12.5%, and the annual production stands at 60,000 0.75 liter bottles, making it a jewel accessible to connoisseurs.
