Born from the best Chardonnay (70%) and Pinot Nero (30%) grapes, harvested in the second decade of August 2017 in the prestigious owned vineyards of Rovere, San Carlo and Ragnoli, the Berlucchi '61 Nature 2017 elegantly expresses the most authentic soul of Franciacorta.

After a soft pressing and careful vinification, part of the wine refines for six months in oak barriques, before undergoing a long maturation on the lees for at least five years. The result is a Dosage Zero Millesimato, pure and essential, which best expresses the strength of the vintage.

To the eye, it captivates with its intense straw yellow, illuminated by precious nuances of old gold. The fine and sinuous perlage accompanies a creamy and persistent mousse. The olfactory bouquet is a journey through ripe yellow fruits, citrus notes of candied cedar and delicate hints of small pastries.

On the palate, the '61 Nature 2017 stands out for its great balance: the important structure, the calibrated acidity and the persistent savouriness intertwine dynamically, offering a full-bodied sip with character and refinement.

Perfect in combination with structured first courses, fresh filled pasta, stewed fish main courses, white meats and aged cheeses. Serve at 10-12 °C to fully appreciate every nuance.
