Gavi DOCG – Villa Sparina
Freshness and identity from Cortese | Piedmont's noble white wine
Villa Sparina's Gavi is an elegant and vibrant white, among the most representative labels of the Gavi DOCG appellation, born on the sunny hills of lower Piedmont, in the municipality of Gavi, a few kilometers from Liguria.
Produced with 100% Cortese grapes, coming from vines about 30 years old located between 250 and 300 m above sea level, on marly and clayey soils, this wine tells the essence of the territory: freshness, savoriness, and aromatic finesse.
After gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel at controlled temperature (18 °C) for three weeks. Aging continues for several months in stainless steel, to preserve fragrance and minerality.
