The elegance of Nebbiolo, sculpted in the sands of Roero

In the heart of Roero, on the concave hill of Valmaggiore in Vezza d'Alba, one of Piedmont's most refined and distinctive Nebbiolos is born.
A sandy, rich, and luminous land, cultivated by hand row by row, where Luciano and Luca Sandrone found their purest inspiration in the 1990s.

Here, Nebbiolo expresses grace, depth, and elegance, thanks to a unique microclimate and a natural amphitheater kissed by the sun from east to west, passing through the south.
The grapes, harvested only when perfectly ripe, ferment spontaneously in open steel vats, with a slow maceration.
Malolactic fermentation and aging in 500-liter French oak barrels follow, then a bottle refinement of at least 9 months.

To the eye, it presents a brilliant ruby red with garnet reflections.
On the nose, it strikes with floral refinement – rose, violet – combined with ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and balsamic notes.
On the palate, it is fine, silky, deep, with chiseled tannins, great balance, and a natural elegance that matures over time.

Ready to impress in its early years, it gives its best with long aging: recommended from 2026 to 2036.

Valmaggiore is the Nebbiolo that speaks softly, yet remains strongly etched in memory.
