The mineral purity of Etna

From the south-western slopes of Etna, in the municipalities of Biancavilla at an altitude of 700-800 meters, comes Idda Bianco Sicilia DOP, a wine that tells the story of the strength and elegance of a unique territory.

Produced exclusively from Carricante grapes, the symbolic variety of Etna, this white wine ferments slowly for about three weeks, followed by an aging of 12 months, partly in oak barrels and partly in steel, to preserve freshness and complexity.

The aromatic profile is delicate and fascinating: white flowers, almonds and marzipan blend with herbaceous notes and mineral accents of flint, evoking the volcanic soul of its land.

On the palate, it stands out for its freshness and savouriness, supported by a pleasant natural sweetness and a lively acidity, which give a dynamic and elegant sip.

Idda — "She" in Sicilian — is the name the islanders respectfully give to the volcano: a tribute to the powerful and mother nature of Carricante.

An authentic and vibrant white, capable of bringing all the light and vitality of Etna to the glass.
