An excellent mountain sparkling wine: Piffer's Trento DOC Riserva Vulcanite 2012 is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine of rare elegance, capable of expressing the strength of the territory and the artisanal precision of great work in the vineyard and cellar.

Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the single "Costiöla" vineyard in Mosana di Giovo, in the Cembra Valley, cultivated on glacial soils rich in pebbles and red clays, this sparkling wine stands out for its depth, freshness, and extraordinary aromatic complexity.

After a soft pressing of whole bunches, the base matures in steel and refines on lees for a full 114 months, in the underground cellar, following natural temperature excursions between 12°C and 20°C. The result is a wine of great personality, evolving with grace and structure.

In the glass, it presents an intense golden yellow and a very fine perlage. The nose offers a complex symphony of white fruit, bread crust, ginger, licorice, and toasted notes. The palate is vibrant, creamy, savory, with mineral hints and a long, refined, persistent finish.

A meditation Trentodoc, also perfect at the table with shellfish, elaborate fish dishes, fatty meats, or spicy dishes.
