The Barolo from the Sordo estate comes from the vineyards located in the heart of the prestigious DOCG Barolo, ranging through the towns of Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba, La Morra, Verduno and Grinzane Cavour.

This excellent wine is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested and selected manually to ensure the highest quality. The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel tanks, with careful management of the temperature, and a maceration of 4-6 weeks depending on the vintage, to ensure optimal contact with the skins. After the completion of the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a further 4-6 months in steel and 6 months in glass, before being ready for marketing.

This Barolo stands out for its garnet red colour, enriched by orange reflections which intensify over the years. The nose opens with delicate ethereal fragrances of flowers and red fruits, which last pleasantly. In the mouth, there is a warm, dry and harmonious sensation, with sweet and complex tannins that give the wine a rare elegance.

Perfectly combinable with roasts, this wine proves to be an ideal companion to game dishes, offering an extraordinary combination of flavours.
