Minière F&R's Influence Champagne is the result of a blend made up of 33% Pinot Noir, 46% Meunier and 21% Chardonnay from three distinct Lieux-Dits: Les Fosselles, Les Couturelles and Les Fauvagnes. This composition includes 74% of the 2018 vintage and 26% of the 2017 vintage. Vinification and aging take place in oak barrels, with a permanence on the lees for 3 years. The final dosage is 5 g/L, giving this Champagne a unique length, complexity and territoriality.
The Domaine di Minière F&R is located in Hermoville, near Reims, and its vineyards date back to the 12th century. Founded in 1919, the winery has seen constant growth over the years thanks to the work of Frédéric and Rodolphe's grandparents and parents. In 2005, the brothers resumed making wine, dedicating themselves to the care and enhancement of their terroir. Currently, they have 8 hectares of vines over 40 years old, cultivated with the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier varieties. The vinification takes place in wooden barrels and the fermentation in barriques, with the aim of preserving the freshness even in the wines after a long period of aging. The Minière brothers cultivate with great respect for the surrounding nature, in order to obtain the best expression of the terroir in their Champagnes.
