Made exclusively from Pinot Meunier grapes from Mareuil-Le-Port, in the Vallée de la Marne, Dehours & Fils' Terriscope 2016 is an Extra Brut Champagne of extraordinary finesse and depth. After a long aging of at least 60 months on the lees, it presents itself as mature, complex, yet surprisingly fresh. In the glass, it shines with a bright straw yellow color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is elegant and intricate: dried fruit, light floral notes of rose, balsamic hints of eucalyptus. On the palate, it conquers with its breadth and balance, with incisive freshness and a structure that promises a long life in the bottle. Perfect with raw fish appetizers, shellfish, and crustaceans, but also with delicate first courses such as spaghetti with mussels or orecchiette with seafood.
