Hiltrudis 2020 is the first work of Clément Poirel, a visionary winemaker from Beaulieu-sur-Loire: a Chenin Blanc that immediately reveals talent and courage.

The new oak is noticeable, but never steals the show: no easy sweetness, rather a subtle oxidation on the nose that intrigues and conquers. In the mouth, the wine is full, vibrant, taut like a chalk line on a blackboard: clear, sharp, precise.
