Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2023 – La Spinetta

The Langhe Nebbiolo 2023 is an authentic and luminous interpretation of Piedmont's iconic grape variety, born in the municipality of Neive, one of the most acclaimed territories of the Langhe. The grapes come from southwest-facing vineyards, planted on bluish calcareous marl soils with small percentages of clay, at an altitude of 230 meters.

After alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks for about 15 days, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in second and third-passage French oak barrels. This is followed by bottle aging for about 6 months, aimed at preserving its freshness and varietal integrity.

In the glass, it presents a beautiful bright ruby red. The bouquet is intense and refined: blackberry jam, rose petals, black pepper, and a hint of tobacco compose a rich and engaging nose. On the palate, it is elegant and structured, with velvety but well-present tannins, a balanced sip, and a clean, persistent finish.

A versatile Nebbiolo, perfect for accompanying meat dishes, cured meats, rich pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. An accessible yet authentic reading of the great Langhe character.
