Piemonte DOC Chardonnay “Lidia” – La Spinetta

A heartfelt tribute to the mother of the Rivetti family, “Lidia” is a pure Chardonnay that embodies elegance, depth, and terroir. Sourced from vineyards in the municipality of Mango, at approximately 500 meters above sea level, on marly-calcareous soil tending towards sandy, this bottle reflects the decisive style of La Spinetta winery.

The winemaking process prioritizes aging in second-passage French oak barrels for about 18 months, followed by at least 6 months in the bottle.

In the glass, it presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose seduces with hints of citrus, golden apple, linden, and honey; on the palate, it surprises with the cleanliness of the sip, freshness, and intense savoriness, with remarkable persistence.

A refined white wine, perfect for accompanying fish dishes, crustaceans, white meats, or soft cheeses, but also worthy of aging for those seeking complexity over time.
