Il Paradiso di Manfredi presents us with its Rosso di Montalcino, 2019 vintage, an authentic Tuscan wine expression. This wine, in the 75 cl format, has its roots in the heart of Italy, in the Tuscany region, and is obtained from the Sangiovese Grosso grape variety. Its mother earth is a Pliocene conglomerate soil, which gives character and personality to every sip.

The company covers 2.5 hectares of vineyards, with a planting system based on double spurred cordon and a density of 3,300 vines per hectare. The average age of the vineyards is 30 years, and the average production per hectare stands at 45 hl.

The vinification and refinement of this Rosso di Montalcino take place with great skill. After destemming and pressing, the must ferments spontaneously and remains macerated on the skins for 25 days in vitrified concrete vats of 25 to 50 hl. This is followed by drawing off, decantation with the natural clarification process and refinement on the fine lees in 10 hl Slavonian oak barrels for 14 months. The total quantity of sulfur dioxide is contained at 25 mg/l, preserving the authenticity of the wine.

In each vintage, only 2,500 bottles of this extraordinary wine are produced.

The Rosso di Montalcino by Il Paradiso di Manfredi is an oenological discovery that will not disappoint lovers of powerful, expressive and elegant wines. Full, fragrant and silky in the mouth, it represents in every way an authentic miniature version of the famous Brunello. It is the perfect choice when you want to prepare a special Sunday dish, such as baked pasta or long-cooked stewed meats. Just open it an hour before the meal to fully enjoy its magnificent complexity.
