"Versante Nord" is a volcanic red wine born from vines over 50 years old, cultivated at 600 m altitude on the northern slope of Etna, between black sand and lava stone. It is the result of the intuition and sensitivity of Eduardo Torres Acosta, a Spanish winemaker transplanted to Sicily and now among the most powerful voices in Italian natural wine.

The blend consists of 80% Nerello Mascalese and 20% indigenous white and red grapes, in an interpretation faithful to the peasant tradition of Etna.

It ferments spontaneously in concrete with some whole clusters and a 15-day maceration, without temperature control. Aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels for 16 months. No filtering. Only authenticity.

Colour: Intense and brilliant ruby red

Aroma: Cherry, plum, carob, iron and sanguine hints, mineral streaks

Palate: Fine, taut, with a silky tannic texture, elegant structure, and a long, saline finish
