All the individual crus are vinified and aged separately, with different methods in order to individually enhance the typical characteristics of each "terroir".

Description: Medium intensity ruby red colour. The nose is explosive, opulent, persuasive and immediate. There are hints of plum, ripe red and black cherry, blackberry, black cherry, rose petal, tobacco. On the palate it is classic, rich, powerful, with notes of alpine herbs and a leathery finish. The tannin is already well integrated.

“Barolo Castiglione 2017 is a wild and exotic wine. Super ripe red cherry, kirsch, cinnamon, tobacco, new leather and rose petal materialize in this large and voluptuous Barolo by Vietti. The 2017 is a wine of considerable weight hidden behind a wall of tannin. Give it a few years to soften or open it well in advance. Time brings out a surprising finesse and elegance.”
