At an altitude of 227 meters above sea level, between the valleys of the Tordino and Salinello rivers, where the hills are painted by magnificent vineyards that shape the entire panorama, stands Tenuta De Sterlich.

The historic estate currently extends over twenty hectares of vineyards. The vineyards represent an authentic example of soil cared for with due attention to sustainability, a place where the great native Montepulciano and Trebbiano vines are grown.

They divided the vineyards into blocks, based on the year of planting, with structures dating back to 1970 with Abruzzese pergola, alongside the more modern row-row ones with simple guyot.

The soil is of medium texture, with a component of blue clay that emerges over a meter deep. The estate is committed to the organic cultivation of vineyards with a holistic approach. Fertilization occurs exclusively with manure and green manure, aiming to obtain rows constantly covered with grass.

Sulfur and copper are used in the vineyard, avoiding weeding or treatments with systemic chemical products. In the cellar, we monitor the temperatures with the same attention and encourage natural decanting, making exclusive use of indigenous yeasts.
