Morus Alba 2021 - Vignai da Duline: An Excellence of the Eastern Hills

The "Morus Alba" by Vignai da Duline is a white wine of extraordinary personality, the result of a skilful blend of Malvasia Istriana from Duline and Sauvignon from Ronco Pitotti. This wine fascinates with its intense straw yellow color and a complex symphony of aromas that evoke yellow pulp fruit, accompanied by herbaceous, spicy and dried fruit notes.

In the mouth, Morus Alba stands out for its enveloping structure, notable minerality and vibrant freshness, culminating in a long and persistent finish that delights the senses.

To fully appreciate it, it is recommended to taste it at a temperature between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius in tulip glasses. This is a wine to be enjoyed immediately, but which promises a surprising evolution with ageing.

It is ideal to accompany first courses and fish-based second courses. Don't miss the experience of tasting it with monkfish fillets wrapped in speck, which will further enhance its qualities.

Vignai da Duline is a renowned wine company located in the heart of the Colli Orientali, in Villanova di San Giovanni al Natistone. Founded in 1997 by Lorenzo Mocchiuti and Federica Magrini, the company stands out for its management of historic vineyards, some of which are over 80 years old. Grown organically on limestone and clay soils, surrounded by rich biodiversity, these vineyards produce grapes of extraordinary quality. The simple and traditional winemaking techniques, combined with the passion and dedication of the winemakers, give life to very high quality wines, including the renowned "Morus Alba", an authentic expression of the territory and the Friulian wine tradition.
