SENSORY IMPRESSIONS:

Large evocative fragrances of ripe red fruit, similar to the characteristics of ripe pomegranate, enriched with nuances that recall the taste profile of rhubarb; in addition, the volcanic nuances of the terroir emerge which recall the essence of graphite. The tannic structure reaches an optimal balance, with an exceptional synergy between lively acidity and distinctive minerality.

CURIOUS ASPECTS:

This fine wine is mainly made from the Nerello Mascalese grape, accompanied by a modest percentage of Nerello Cappuccio. The vineyards, which grow at an altitude of 650 meters, are grown on fertile soil. The grapes come from centenary vines, which thrive without the use of grafts. The grapes are harvested manually and the fermentation process is spontaneous, taking place in steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine ages for a period of between 18 and a maximum of 24 months in previously used oak barrels. Further refinement in the bottle lasts for at least 6 months, confirming the care and attention dedicated to each phase of production.
