Ognostro Rosso, the new wine of the 2020 vintage, represents the authentic heart of Campania. Produced by the Tinessa Agricultural Company, this red wine is a hymn to tradition and innovation, processed in amphora and coming from old Aglianico vineyards, dating back to over 50 years of history.

The vineyard, cultivated with the Guyot system, spurred cordon and pergola, reflects an average age of 60 years and a density of 40 hl of vines per hectare. Artisanal winemaking includes manual destemming and maceration on the skins for a month in concrete tanks, followed by spontaneous fermentation in concrete and steel tanks without the use of pied de cuve. An 18-month refinement in stoneware amphorae and concrete tanks completes the process.

The Tinessa Agricultural Company, led by Marco Tinessa, presents Ognostro Rosso as a wine with character, full and juicy. The complexity of the scratchy tannin is combined with a long sip, making this wine an authentic sensorial experience. With an excellently balanced total sulfur content and a production limited to 4,620 bottles, Ognostro Rosso is destined to reveal itself over time as a long-lived wine that requires patience to fully appreciate its fullness.
